The TelEduc is an environment for distance education courses through the Internet. It is being developed
Nied (Nucleus of Informatics Applied to Education) under the direction of Professor, Doctor Heloísa Vieira da Rocha of the Institute of Computing of the Unicamp (State University of Campinas), based upon a teacher development methodology that was constructed through the analysis of various face-to-face experiences undertaken by the professionals from the Nucleus.

The environment is an integral part of the master "Distance Human Resource Development for Educational Information Technology" written by Alessandra de Dutra e Cerceau.

The Nied, as one of its lines of research, since 1998, has administrated various distance education courses using TelEduc, while, at the same time, progressively refining the environment.
